hey guys i have question for you all and i want your serious opinions here should i try to go ahead and try out for being an extra in either tv or movies??? all i need to get started is 48 dollars through talent6.com what do you guys think????the 48 dollars is to pay for my portfolio that will be displayed for any agency or or producer to look at.
Does being an extra count as acting experience? How do I become an extra?
I am a 15 year old boy, living in the south west of England Devon . I want to become an actor eventually, so I was wondering how to get acting experience, and it struck me that one possible way may be to become an extra. Would this count as acting experience in the future?My parents own a small film company sculptinglight.co.uk , and I act quite a lot in their films. I know that this does count as acting experience, but in the future I want to become an actual film actor, or at least try I know I should get involved in theatre I do, I know this. I was just wondering, how could I become an extra at 15 years old, and living in Devon?

Why does DirecTV act as if they are not obligated to carry the extra MTV and VH1 channels?
DirecTV has STILL not added MTV Hits, MTV Jams or VH1 Soul to its lineup Ugh Those 3 channels show nothing but music videos all day and it irks me that they do not carry them and somehow they feel no requirement to carry them. They give us BET J Jazz and the White VH1 Classic, but no MTV Hits, MTV Jams or VH1 Soul My sister has digital cable at her house and all 3 are there MTV Hits, Jams, and VH1 Classic but it seems that DirecTV and Dish only are interested in VH1 Classic and that bugs me Are MTV Jams and MTV Hits and VH1 Soul " too Black" ? This makes me mad because they feel no obligation or guarantee to offer those extra channels. Why are they acting this way?Fuse channel 339 is White.CMT & GAC ch. 327 & 326 White Hell, we'll get CMT Pure County probably before we get MTV Jams. Hell will have to freeze over before we see MTV Jams. DTV must be run by racists?
