How can I deal with a 5yr old acting out?
I have a Friend who is going through a separation divorce. Their mother is stubborn and puts her needs first over the children. He has filed an emergency custody petition and the court date is pending. He continues to offer her time to see them but with his supervision. She will not have it and is punishing the children as they continue to ask to see her. She also calls to say goodnight as a routine and gets their 5yr old all excited to open presents but then she does not compromise with their dad. The 5yr old lashes out and has a lot of anger. He does not like to share, growls, kicks, hits and bites. Any suggestions??Let me rephrase...he is offering her supervised visits right now until the court date. He filed Emergency Petition of Custody because of her mental state, lack of supervision and the introduction of " negative" influences. He is doing this so that the kids arent deprived of both mother and a father. He has every right to offer what he is until the court date. She is refusing to mutually agreeing since she is the one who put the kids well being in danger. The question was for ideas on how to handle a 5yr olds anger. Thanks.
My son is acting out?
ever since my husband and i told my 7 year old son that we are having a child, he had been nothing but rude to me and throws things at me and has fits about nothing. I'm not really sure what to do because before this he was so good, and this morning he was playing with his toy guns and told me he wanted to shoot me in the head. i want to get professional help, because maybe he just needs to talk it out but my husband doesnt think he needs help because hes a perfect angel around him. what should i doi think this is prob not the right board but i think id act in here since im prob close to age to some of the people in here.no my husband is his dad, i guess i just didnt word that right because i reread it and it does kind of sound like he isnti dont really yell or hit my child, i dont think it gets you anywhere. I tried to send him to his room and he just laughs at me and goes outside or turns on the tv, ive even tried to talk to him but he just tells me he hates me and walks away.well too bad if he doesnt like it, hes getting a little sister. I dont really care what he does to me, i just dont want him to hurt the baby when she gets here.
About Chihuahua's- Questions: I have a Chihuahua (Male) and lately he has been acting out of the norm.?
I have had him for about 2 years now and he is my first so I do not know much about their behaviors. For the past 4 nights in a role, he has woken us up at 2am, 4am, 6am scratching and crying in his kennel. We let him go outside several times just to wake up and see he has messed pooped ALL In his kennel. In these 4 days he has NOT HAD ANY issues, he's been just fine, he ONLY does this at these specific times in the AM He is very moody emotional and has been known to poo in his food bowl b c he didn't like it and he also does this thing to where if he gets mad, even if he does not have to poo, he will squeeze out whatever he can in spite...I hate to be mad at him if this is not the reason why hes doing it, but if he is FINE ALL DAY and ONLY does this in the AM, I just dont know what to do. HELP Laundry bill getting expensive lolI just wanted to add a few deatails about him. HE LOVES LOVES LOVES his kennel...Its basically his fave place in the world so thats why it is so strange for him to act like this. HE ONLY has to stay in his kennel when we go to sleep, he has the whole house any other time.His kennel his sized for a LARGE dog so you could fit about 10 Chihuahuas in there. He has A LARGE bed in there w about 4 blankets...its dog Heaven in there...he loves it.
How do you disciple your children when they are acting out-of-control?
my girls absolutely refused to go to sleep tonight. They are 11 and 12 yrs old. Sometimes I get " name called" and " talked over" . They are in counselling for some trauma they have been through house fire at father's house . I try to be very patient with them but, sometimes they just IGNORE me and continue with their defiant behaviors.I have tried not yelling at them and they just laugh and keep on
My dogs have been acting out in different ways since my husband left for Iraq. Whats going on?
The male is marking chewing barking and not coming when called. The female is insisting on being on the furniture with me and trying to get in my lap ALL the time no matter what I am doing she suddenly needs excessive attention. The male is also yelling at my bunny all the time now as well. What is going on with these crazy dogs, I think the bunny is the only normal one
My 5 year old son is acting out and beating up on my 4yr old daughter?
My 5yr old stepson is staying here with his 7yr old sister for 3 weeks for the school holidays. Here at home, we have a 4yr old girl, 3yr old son and 1 1 2 month old baby girl. My 5yr old however, is very physical, and over the past 4 days he's been here, he's been causing alot of trouble by punching, pushing and other forms of bullying on my 4yr old. He doesn't hurt any of the others and i'm not sure why he targets her maybe its because they're similar in age ? I treat all the kids equally, and the only reason i can think he's even remotely violent is because an uncle at his mums house encourages hitting and heavy wrestling and we tell them here that its not acceptable. We have voiced our concerns to their mother and step father before but it just falls on deaf ears.I've tried every form of discipline with him, from positive refinforcement when he does good things, rewarding him which didnt work , i've tried the naughty corner, i've tried putting him in his room, i've taken away toys, made him miss out on outings that he would love to have gone on.. i've even smacked him... but nothing. This situation has been going on for a while and i'm not sure how to tackle it anymore... he has now physically inflicted bruises and marks on her back from the last 2 " attacks" and if he keeps it up i honestly dont want him in the house. And before you all say anything, even though i say " i've" done all this, my partner is involved in disciplining the kids, im just talking from my point of veiw as i am the one on here.Anyway, i dont want to feel like im always the bad guy, that hes always in trouble anymore... i want the house to be a nice safe environment for all my kids where they can play freely and enjoy their time here. Any tips are appreciated.Any advice is appreciated?

When I got home from work I just wanted to get things done as fast as possible...He was sleep and I kept falling asleep waiting for him so I was like " you gotta get up" then I acted impatient until we walked out the doorI said " sorry I was rushing you today..." He said " Yeah, you usually like to chill..." He knew I just got off work but he seemed a little thrown off by the way I was acting...How do I make it up to him?we were running arrands...I wasn't rushing him with sex or anything
Why is my dog acting all out of breath?
For the last two days my dog she has been heavily breathing with her toung hanging out of her mouth but she is still wagging her tail. But for some reason last night and tonight it has been happing at the same hour. We let her have water all the time and we give her bayer if she has a stuffy nose. But nothing seems to be helping her. Has this ever happen to your pet? If so wat is wrong with her? and what sould we do? That would be so very helpful.P.S. If it helps she is only two

it died it will start but trys to die again if you press on gas it boggs down if you let off gas a lil the rpms go back down and it doesn't want to go over 20mph and trys to die the whole time still smells like gas still can't figure out? please help
